Alfredo Cortellini, Platinum Aviation Holdings President, brings a successful and diverse business and educational background to Platinum that is industry appropriate and a great match for Platinum's future success and expansion. His proven expertise in technology, airport management and high end maintenance operations are key to Platinum's strategies.

Mr. Cortellini hails from Bologna, Italy. There he built, owned and operated a very successful, large facility, cold storage construction and maintenance business, Cogefin S.P.A. with long term contracts with the likes of the multi-national conglomerate, Unilever. As owner and director of Cogefin S.P.A., Mr. Cortellini developed and successfully implemented the newest state of the art, large scale energy efficient refrigeration systems developed to date for very large cold storage facilities. In 2007 successfully negotiated, structured the terms and closed on the sale of Cogefin S.P.A.

Alfredo's passion was always with aviation. While operating his primary, cold storage business, he purchased Aerdelta aerodrome in Bologna. Over a period of two years, Alfredo improved the field dramatically adding a fuel farm with JET A1 and secured certification for the airport and heliport to ICAO 14 Annex standards. Alfredo then conceived and built a first class restaurant on the field known for its excellent food and great service. With these successes, in a short period, Aerdelta aerodrome became known as one of the finest general aviation airports in Italy and a friendly Cirrus Aircraft base. Alfredo, a long time fan of the Cirrus has personally owned 4 Cirrus aircraft, two of which are currently on Platinum's rental line.

In 2006, Alfredo had come to Platinum to train for his IFR rating which he soon earned with ease. While there he began to develop a plan to return to the US and arrange the purchase of what he saw as a very professionally operated Cirrus flight training business. In 2007 his plan became a reality when he purchased not only Platinum Aviation, but Correct Aviation as well at KFXE and consolidated them into the what now has become the largest Cirrus flight training company in the world.

Today, Platinum Aviation Holdings, in a very short time under Mr. Cortellini's guidance, has grown into a successful family of companies that includes flight training, aircraft maintenance, aircraft management, aircraft sales and an aviation training video and aviation industry advertising production company. Mr. Cortellini's expertise and vision will ensure Platinum's continued success going forward with long term expansion plans already in place.
