Cirrus Extended Third Year Warranty

Basic Coverage

There seems to be the most confusion on the Cirrus warranties in the area of the extended third year warranty that Cirrus offers new buyers at the time of purchase for an additional fee. This warranty is quite simple once you understand what it really covers. Basically it covers the airframe, avionics and turbo components (if installed) for an additional year over the basic warranty, parts and labor.

• This warranty does nothing to change the Teledyne Continental basic or Platinum engine warranties.
• This warranty does not extend the Twelve (12) month paint warranty.
• This warranty extends the time frame to Three (3) years on the covered items, but does not extend the 1000 hour limit.

Cirrus will pay for standard ground shipping on parts that must be ordered. Faster shipping methods are available, but must be paid for be the aircraft owner.
