Redbird FMX Full Motion Simulator

The Redbird FMX is a superior-quality, full motion, feature-rich Advanced Aviation Training Device with one goal in mind: enhancing your training experience and reducing the time and cost of training. The Redbird does this by allowing you to practice procedures, approaches, or even basic familiarization in a controlled environment without some of the distractions we find in the airplane. Your instructor also has the ability to “freeze” your flight at any point, stopping the action so the two of you can analyze and discuss what is occurring.
The Redbird is approved by the FAA and can be used towards the Private, Instrument, Commercial, and ATP courses. Instrument rated pilots can also log time and approaches towards their currency, even completing the IPC in the Redbird.
North County Flight Training currently offers the following aircraft configurations: Cessna 172 (G1000), Cirrus SR22 Perspective(G1000 with GFC 700),  Cessna 210 (high-performance, complex), and the twin-engine Seneca 2.
