Mentor Pilot Programs

Aircraft owners that move up to larger more complicated, twins, turbines or jet powered aircraft will often find that even after the required initial training or type rating required, most insurance companies are asking for “mentor pilot” time.

Platinum Aviation has the experience instructors that you will need and can design a custom program to suit your unique situation. These insurance company requirements are different for every case ranging from just 25 hours dual for someone with a bit of experience moving into say a Beech Baron, to a more longer term commitment for a low time pilot trying to transition to one of the new VLJ’s like the Cessna Mustang.

Platinum Aviation has instructors current, trained and qualified for a large variety of aircraft. Purchasers of new aircraft often have their Platinum instructor accompany them and participate on their initial, factory supplied training with Flight Safety or Sim Com. All of Platinum’s instructor are high time instructor pilots that can help guide you through this challenging process.
