Receptionist / Flight Dispatcher - Full time or Part time

Location: Opa Locka airport

We have openings for receptionist / flight dispatchers to work in our Opa locka office. Our offices are open from 8 AM to 6 PM, Monday - Sunday. We need friendly and helpful people to staff our aircraft dispatch office during any of these times. We can work with your schedule to create a flexible schedule for you.

Duties include dispatching rental aircraft, billing using Quickbooks, greeting customers and answering their questions regarding aircraft rentals and flight instruction, filing and general office duties.

While we prefer someone with knowledge of flight training and light aircraft, personality and enthusiasm will go a long way. Our primary concern is our customers and the way they are greeted and treated while at our facility. We are happy to train people that will service their needs.

Flight Instructor - Full Time or Part Time

Location - Opa Locka KOPF
                    Tamiami KTMB

We are currently seeking flight instructors for both our Opa Locka and Tamiami locations to teach primarily in our Cirrus aircraft. Instructors would teach primary flight training in Cirrus SR-20 GTS aircraft and advanced training, Cirrus transition courses and Cirrus recurrent training in the SR-20’s and SR-22 GTS air-conditioned aircraft. All of our aircraft are new and fully equipped.

Most of  Platinum Aviation’s clients are successful businessmen not young people training for airline careers. Therefore, our instructors are often called on to fly owner aircraft that we manage on trips for the owner’s family and friends both domestically and to the Bahamas. These trips are in Cirrus aircraft and new glass panel Saratogas.

We prefer higher time pilots for these positions, preferably with corporate or airline experience. Cirrus and Saratoga time is preferred, but not required. You are not required to currently be a CSIP - Cirrus Standardized Instructor. As a Cirrus Training Center, Platinum Aviation has the authority to train our instructors as CSIP’s.
