Billing Policy

As a professional flight instructor, it is my duty to ensure the highest level of instruction and safety is provided. Only during this time should a client be billed for the services being provided. The lessons typically include preflight, flight time and post-flight. The amount of time charged for instruction will be agreed upon end of post-flight.
Multiple day bookings or aircraft pick up from the factory are billed at $650 per day plus expenses. If a flight requires waiting time, it is billed at the hourly rate unless previous arrangements are made. Unique situations always exist, please don't hesitate to email me with questions.

Biography

Wes Popplewell is a graduate of the University of Hawaii with a BAA Business Administration and a BA in Economics. He started his aviation career in the summer of 2006 at the Delta Connection Academy in Sanford Florida. After completing his training he was hired by DCA to work as a Flight instructor and worked up the ranks to Manager of Flight Standards/Assistant Chief Flight Instructor. While in this position Wes was able to increase his practice of advocating high quality flight training and flight safety. In August 2010, the Broward College Aviation Institute invited Wes the to be a full time faculty member to instruct future pilots, ATC controllers, and airport management students.
Wes has a passion for flying but has an obsession for flight instructing.
